Bangsaen21 is one of the most famous half marathon events in Thailand, and it will return again in 2025 with even more excitement.
The event is a significant half marathon which provides top-tier running experiences to athletes from all over the world under the concept of “The Finest Running Event Ever”. The race takes place in Bangsaen, a beach town in Chonburi province that is known for its relaxed seaside atmosphere. Many runners enjoy joining this event because it combines a friendly running community with a beautiful coastal route.
The Bangsaen21 Half Marathon follows the official half marathon distance of 21.0975 kilometers and meets international road-race standards. The event is organized by MICE & Communication together with running groups such as Tao Doi Runner. Every year, the event is recognized for its high-quality management, and it has earned the World Athletics Platinum Label Road Race status, which shows that it is trusted and respected globally.
Before the event, runners can collect their race kit and bib number on 19–20 December 2025 at designated times. For the 2025 race, the event will begin at 4:00 AM and continue until around midday. The path takes runners along the Bangsaen Beach road, past famous viewpoints like Laem Taen, Khao Sam Muk, and the scenic Ang Sila area. The entire route will be closed to traffic, ensuring that runners can enjoy the course safely without vehicles.
In addition to the beautiful scenery, the event also includes fun and supportive activities. Many local residents come out early in the morning to cheer on the runners, creating a warm and encouraging atmosphere. Hydration stations are well-placed throughout the route, offering water, electrolyte drinks, and snacks to keep runners energized.
The event expo, held during the bib pick-up days, features vendors selling sportswear, nutrition products, and souvenirs. Some booths offer stretching sessions or mini-workshops to help runners prepare for the race. The strong support from Saensuk Municipality also plays an important role in making the race safe and enjoyable.
