Preparations are now underway for the organizing of the equestrian sports competition “Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025,” to be held from 22 to 28 December at the Royal Stable Unit, Sanam Pao, Phahonyothin Road, in Bangkok.

Minister of Tourism and Sports Atthakorn Sirilatthayakorn chaired a preparatory meeting for Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025 at the Royal Thai Army’s 2nd Cavalry Division King’s Guard, with the participation of representatives from relevant agencies.

The meeting discussed safety measures to be stepped up to ensure the highest level of security, as His Majesty the King would proceed to attend this event. Facilitation would also be provided for all participants. All interested persons are invited to attend this event, and admission is free.

The meeting also focused on upgrading Thailand’s equestrian sport capacibility to international standards, developing Thai riders’ horse-riding skills and experience in equestrian competitions, and promoting Thailand as a major destination for sports tourism, in line with the Government’s policy.

This horse-racing event, the 11th of its kind, aims to promote and elevate the standards of equestrian sports in Thailand, as well as building a strong relationship and bond between equestrians and between equestrian clubs.

The Princess’s Cup Thailand is held annually in response to the wishes of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, who is recognized for her outstanding contributions to the equestrian sport in Thailand.

Other activities will also be held alongside the international equestrian sports competition, such as a flea market, food trucks, street performances, exhibitions, and dog contests.
