Minor Hotels to Rebrand Hua Hin Property as NH Hua Hin, Expanding Select Service Portfolio in Thailand

Whats on in Thailand

Minor Hotels, a global hospitality group with hotels, resorts and branded residences across 59 countries, has confirmed the launch of the NH Hua Hin hotel, with the group set to assume management of the property from 16 January 2026.

The rebranding will see the Hua Hin property join Minor Hotels’ growing NH Hotels & Resorts portfolio in Thailand, strengthening the group’s select-service offering in key leisure and urban destinations.

The NH Hua Hin hotel will feature 152 modern rooms and suites, offering city and mountain views, with room sizes starting from 30 square metres. Accommodation options will cater to both leisure and business travellers, including deluxe rooms, family rooms with bunk beds, and one-bedroom suites designed for longer stays.

Guests will have access to three food and beverage outlets, including an all-day dining restaurant serving international favourites and local specialities, a lobby café offering light meals and drinks throughout the day, and a rooftop bar beside the infinity pool, overlooking the surrounding area at sunset. Leisure facilities will include a rooftop swimming pool, a Kids’ Club with both indoor and outdoor spaces, and a fully equipped fitness centre.

For meetings and small events, the hotel will offer a 110-square-metre function room capable of accommodating up to 90 guests, providing a venue for corporate off-sites, private functions and social gatherings.

Located around 200 kilometres south of Bangkok, Hua Hin is widely recognised as Thailand’s royal seaside retreat. The NH Hua Hin hotel is positioned at the southern end of the town, offering convenient access to Hua Hin Beach, located approximately 400 metres away, as well as popular attractions such as Cicada Night Market and Hua Hin Night Market. Shopping centres including BLUPORT Hua Hin and Market Village Hua Hin are also nearby.

The destination serves as a gateway to wider attractions across Prachuap Khiri Khan province, including Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park and Phraya Nakhon Cave, along with Pa-La-U Waterfall in Kaeng Krachan National Park.

Dillip Rajakarier, Group CEO of Minor International, the parent company of Minor Hotels, said the launch would mark the brand’s expansion into a third city in Thailand. He said the NH Hua Hin hotel is intended to offer accessible hospitality that complements the group’s luxury and premium brands already operating in the area.

Pakornkit Rangnoktai and Keita Maeda, executive directors of Enrich Poranimmit, the property’s owners, said they were confident in the partnership with Minor Hotels, citing the group’s experience in Hua Hin and its operational track record across Thailand.

The rebranding reflects Minor Hotels’ broader strategy to grow its select-service portfolio across Asia. The NH Hua Hin hotel will become the fourth NH Hotels & Resorts property in Thailand, joining existing locations in Bangkok and Phuket. The group’s presence in Hua Hin will expand to three properties, alongside Anantara Hua Hin Resort and Avani+ Hua Hin.
