Thai Visa

Passport & Visa Requirements
To enter Thailand in 2025, you need a valid passport (6+ months validity), a suitable visa (or qualify for visa-exempt entry), and must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within 3 days before arrival via tdac.immigration.go.th.
Requirements vary by nationality, but expect to show onward travel proof, accommodation, and funds (e.g., 10,000 THB/person) for visa-exempt/VOA, or apply for e-Visas (like Tourist TR for 60 days) via thaievisa.go.th if needed.
1. Check Your Nationality (Visa Exemption/VOA/Visa)
- Visa Exemption: Many countries get 60 days visa-free (extendable), so check if yours is on the list.
- Visa on Arrival (VOA): For 15 days if eligible, pay a fee (around 2,000 THB) at the airport with proof of funds/ticket.
- e-Visa: Apply online via thaievisa.go.th for tourist (TR) visas (60 days) or other types if not visa-exempt, needing passport, photo, funds, and itinerary.
2. Pre-Arrival Essentials
- Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months from entry.
- Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC): Mandatory for all, complete at tdac.immigration.go.th within 72 hours (3 days) before arrival (air, land, sea).
3. At Immigration
- Present your passport, TDAC confirmation, and proof of onward travel (ticket out within visa/exemption period) and funds (approx. 10,000 THB/person).
